Laurentian Bookstore relocates to student street during campus modernization

By Leanne Ofori-Atta

The Laurentian University bookstore, which was formerly located on the third floor of the Parker building, has relocated during campus modernization’s on-going project. The bookstore can now be located on student street, in SSR room G-11.

“We expect the construction to take a couple of months, so we should be moving back to the Parker building early to mid-August,” said Jolene Lizotte, manager of the bookstore.

Prior to the move, students were notified through Laurentian’s official communication emails.

When asked how the move of the bookstore will affect students, fourth-year Theatre student Jananee Bonello-Stauch said the move of the bookstore is “a little inconvenient for students” although campus modernization is a positive project as it will “better the school.”
