From Oct. 23 until Nov. 1, Another Home Invasion will be performed at the Sudbury Theatre Centre (STC).
Interestingly, guest director Marion de Vries is leading this emotional, yet humorous production. De Vries has won various awards for playwriting and directing in theatre.
This critically acclaimed play, written by Joan McLeod, is a change of pace from the STC’s first play of the season, the colourful and bold musical The Rocky Horror Show.
Another Home Invasion follows an elderly married couple, Jean and Alec, and reflects upon the challenges and transitions that develop as people age. Things get interesting, however, when a stranger enters their home one night.
Another Home Invasion will only run for ten performances, during the aforementioned dates. Performances are scheduled Tuesday to Saturday at 7:30 p.m., however, there will be a Pay What You Can Matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26.
Ticket prices vary; however, Under 30 prices are $21.10, and adult prices are $37.10.
