Starting Monday, Mar. 7, two major traffic arteries in Sudbury will be slowed to a crawl due to maintenance work.
Notre Dame & Lasalle
The intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and Lasalle Boulevard will experience intermitent lane closures between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Mar. 7 to 21. Geotechnical work in advance of future improvements to the intersection will be conducted during that time.
Partial lane closures will be necessary on an intermittent basis at various locations between O’Grady Street and the Taxation Data Centre entrance on Lasalle Boulevard, and between Turner Avenue and the Taxation Data Centre entrance on Notre Dame Avenue.
Regent Street
Repairs to a sanitary sewermain on Regent Street will close the southbound curb lane on Regent Street, between Arnold Street and Telstar Avenue from Mar. 4 to 11.
The City of Greater Sudbury said in a release that motorists should use both lanes to alternately merge at the construction zone.
