Paquette to offer film and television acting course through STC

By Vanessa Difeo

This season, film and television acting classes are being offered through the Sudbury Theatre Centre (STC). Aspiring adult actors of all levels are being encouraged to partake in this program instructed by award-winning film director and Laurentian University professor Benjamin Paquette.

This course will take place on three consecutive Sundays in November (specifically, the 10th, the 17th, and the 24th), from 2-9 p.m. These sessions will be held at the Rainbow Cinema, where a film crew will be on site for scene work and screen tests.

It is open to all members of the community (aged 18 and up), regardless of their artistic background or experiences.

For anyone interested in participating in this film and television acting course, the cost is $120 for STC subscribers, and $140 for non-subscribers. To clarify, this cost encompasses all three classes and the screen test.

To reserve a place in the program, call the STC box office at (705) 674-8381, extension 21.
